Live Cricket IND vs NZ – Indian opener KL Rahul set a new world record by scoring 224 runs in India’s five-match T20 series against New Zealand on Sunday.

New Zealand got Rahul out for 45 runs in the 5th and final match, the match was played in Mount Maunganui.

This innings helped break previous records. New Zealand opener Colin Munro made a previous record against West Indies.

Rahul scored an average of 56 in this series. Rahul played 57,27,38,45 and 56 innings in the five-match T20 series.

New Zealand batsman is Colin Munro in this record list before, he scored 178 in the five-match series and remained second, in the last match played on Sunday.

New Zealand Ross Tayler scored an average of 41 to 166 and remained third.

Meanwhile, Indian team batsman Rohit Sharma came to play his 108th international T20 match. When Sanju Samson got out of the match in Oval’s ground, it was a historic day for Rohit to play his 108 matches.

They were batting a hundred times but after Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, he became the second batsman to play 100 innings in this short format T20 cricket and Rohit is number one by playing 105 innings on Sunday.

Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah became the seventh Indian by playing 50 matches in T20.
